DESCRIPTION

REC "Energy City Hall" of the City of Magliano Alpi was established in December 2020, and is the FIRST Renewable Energy Community (REC) created in Italy in compliance with the RED-II European Directive, as adopted by the Italian Government.

The REC of Magliano Alpi is a member of RESCOOP (https://www.rescoop.eu/news-and-events/news/rescoop-eu-welcomes-new-member-6).

The City of Magliano Alpi uses a digital IoT platform.

The City also supports other Cities in the path towards a sustainable energy use for urban renovation.

WHAT CAN BE TESTED

Active involvement of technology and service providers is welcome, e.g. by installing technology and collecting data. We are also interested in experimenting innovative business models, also including new RECs that are being created in other Italian cities.

Availability of PODs equipped with meters and connected to a digital management platform

PRICING MODEL

Pricing will be based on the service/work contribution requested. The test of services, tools and technologies will generally be for free, provided information outcome is shared. Technical support, data mining and meeting with Stakeholders will be priced on a case-by-case basis.
